Bruises and Cruises.

Let me just tell you that the cruise was so fun. We had such a good time. The shows were so amazing, and i wish i had more pictures of them, but i don't. The two-time world champion of magic performed one night and he was amazing. His name is Shawn Farquhar and I had the privilege to talk to him for over an hour with Kat, Beth, and some friends we met on the ship on Friday night (the last night) and he is so funny. He talks really fast and has awesome stories about how fake and lame Chris Angel is. haha. You can ask me if you want to know more, but yeah it was fun. He showed us some cool tricks and stuff too. I got to keep the deck of cards he used but i didn't think to get them signed...so they aren't. But still. And another night there was this juggler that was amazing and juggling has been in his family for a LONG time and he was funny. Then there was comedians who work in the same company as all the famous comedians. And then of course the singers and dancers for the ship. The lead singer is my best friend, Dominic. No big deal. haha. Except sam, tay, and the parents make fun of me because we're all sure he's gay. But he's cool. Australian but lives in London. haha. And I dominated at basketball...but just goofing around. The boys were the ones that one the cruise ship basketball tournament. haha. And mexico was fun. Snorkeling in Cabo was way fun but Peurta Vallarta was disappointing this time. I love you all and miss you. My phone broke again(I swear it wasn't my fault) so yeah I'm sad. Bon Voyage

Today is the day! We fly to CA and will be enjoying the 80+ degrees in Oceanside tomorrow! Everyone is excited to see their O-side friends.
The kids are finishing their finals today. We get on the boat Saturday. Love you ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Sneed was there too! Apparently his picture was on my camera instead of Leesh's, so here we are. Do you remember when he came down to visit us in Cali, the summer after my freshman year? Well he's back from his mission, and we're trying to reintroduce him to the ways of Provo :)

leggo my taco

Tuesday nights have been deemed Taco Tuesday for as long as I can remember (errrr since I've lived here.) We head down to trusty Del Taco at around 10 pm and eat crappy 3 for $1 tacos and meet up with friends and talk about upcoming parties and sometimes barf afterwards. It's really quite the fun tradition we have here in Provolone.

ps. personally I don't actually eat the tacos. i usually stick the healthier foods on their menu like churros and quesadillas.

My life as it is.

Well let me start off by saying that I've been really stressed out this past week for finals. I have to take all my finals this wednesday and thursday, aka a week or more earlier than the rest of the school. So yeah. I have been studying and I'm going to be staying after school...but I have to work out after school. And I was thinking about being in the school play (Aladin) But I missed tryouts because I was so busy. Oh well. I'll just be a back stage person. It still sounds pretty fun. ANYWAYS, so that's what I've been doing. Plus packing, and cleaning, and additional homework. Oh how I LOVE semester finals. False. But yeah I went rollerblading with all my rollerblading friends at the rollerarena. SO that was fun. And friday was Priscilla's bday so we went out to Red Robin with their family. And on saturday, I had a blast. We went to the Red Room. A concert and coffee room in Kennewick (which by the way was a miracle we found a cool hang out spot in this town...with awesome people) and we watched Dayton's show. And a few other performers and it was amazing. Hooray for FREE SHOWS, am I right? It was a blast. Totally chill with fansatic music and bomb Vanilla Steamers.
Also, after the show we had a small dance party with all the left-over awesome indie kids there. It was fun, Pretty intense. They me priscilla, ellen, carla, and marcus went to 7-11 and popped back home to do the Mamma Mia sing-along.
Love it.

Velour

Velour is a local music venue in Provo that is acutally really rad. From the dimly lit stage to the unicorn wall shadows to the random dolls hanging from the ceiling, it's quite the hot spot here in town. Tonight Chrissy, Aaron and I went there to see our friend, Seth, play. I was basically just messing around with my lighting and different features on my camera the whole time, but here are some of my favorite pictures that turned out.
I love how the lighting hit Chrissy's face in this one.

erik's BUSy life...

so, my winter quarter started this week, and so far it's been quite a new experience. first of all, i'm finally taking day time classes (as opposed to my night classes last quarter), and i LOVE IT! it'sreally fun to actually be on campus when everyone else is there too! haha. and i love my classes. i'm taking english, environmental science, and concert choir. fun fun fun. OH! and due to a major lack of personal transportation, i've been taking the bus! which by the way, i've never taken...ever, anywhere. hahah. it's actually been not too bad! just a couple buses to get to school and back. AND it gives me plenty of time to listen to all the harry potter audiobooks while im waiting hahaha. ok, well i love and miss you all! PEACE

YA Ken's in School!!

I just wanted to share that Ken was able to register today!! He'll be finishing up getting his degree in Civil Engineering. I think he graduates in June :)

so this is the new year...

Happy New Year everyone! I hope all of you had a night full of good fun and even better friends! My New Years was a precious one. Aaron and I started out the night eating at a total hole in the wall Chinese restaurant (it's a tradition to eat Chinese food on New Years Eve in his family) but the food was delicious and didn't make us feel toooooo sick. After that we headed over to his old roommate, Scott, and his wife's house for a fun little shin dig. Aaron got to hang out with his old roommates, Scott and Al and all of the boys had a wonderful time lighting off the fireworks that Aaron got for Christmas.
And of course, i got me new years kiss :)
