FIRST NIGHT 2009

I hope everyone had a great New Year's celebration! I went to an event called First Night in Salt Lake with Liberty, our friend Elliot, Kristen, and Marlee and we had a great time! There were just lots of little tents and performances and concerts and we all wrote our resolutions as part of this big art project. It was supppper cold, but we drank hot chocolate and stayed bundled to keep warm. Then when it hit midnight there was a huge fireworks celebration, which was my FAVORITE. I love starting a new year... it's like starting fresh with a whole new calendar. I love it!
